Canvas by ManiWare ("we", "our", or "the app") is a digital drawing and annotation application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

📦 Data We Collect

Canvas by ManiWare is designed to be privacy-first. Here is exactly what we collect:

Drawing data & settings — Stored locally on your device only. We never upload your canvas content to any server.
Ad interaction data — Collected by Google AdMob when you view banner or rewarded ads (see Advertising section below).

        or any personally identifiable information.
      

💾 Local Storage

All canvas pages, undo history, colour palettes, brush settings, and board configurations are saved locally on your device using Capacitor Preferences (backed by Android SharedPreferences). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

Ad-free timer progress is stored locally using Secure Storage so your rewarded time persists between sessions.

📢 Advertising (Google AdMob)

Canvas by ManiWare uses Google AdMob to display banner ads and rewarded video ads. AdMob may collect and use data to serve personalised or non-personalised advertisements. This includes:

Device identifiers (e.g. Advertising ID)
IP address and general location (country/region)
Device model, OS version, and language settings
Ad interaction events (views, clicks, reward earned)

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. Please review Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob's data usage policy for full details.

        You can opt out of personalised ads at any time through your device's settings:

        Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation

🔒 Data Security

Since your drawing data is stored entirely on your device and we do not operate servers that receive your personal data, there is no server-side risk of a data breach involving your content.

We use Secure Storage for sensitive preferences (such as ad-free timer state) which is encrypted on your device.

👶 Children's Privacy

Canvas by ManiWare does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The app is intended for general audiences and is suitable for use in educational settings.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

🔗 Third-Party Services

The app integrates the following third-party SDKs:

Google AdMob — advertising
Capacitor — native platform bridge (file system, preferences)

These services have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their data practices.
